The origins of our business trace back to 1988, when the first of the Al Jeri companies, Al Jeri Transport Company was founded with but a single truck.
The origins of our business trace back to 1988, when the first of the Al Jeri companies, Al Jeri Transport Company was founded with but a single truck. The next year, the first petrol station under the J:Oil brand was launched. Growing rapidly over the next 4 years, by 1992 JTC operated a fleet of 100 trucks and 250 trailers.
Thirty years later, the Al Jeri group has diversified into a variety of essential services such as food & beverages, and renewable energies, delivering excellence in every industry we interface with. Meanwhile, our core business of transport and petroleum has expanded to over 1000 trucks and 165 petrol stations.
Al Jeri Transport Company was founded with one truck
JTC expands to 10 trucks, 25 trailers, and the first J:Oil petrol station is opened.
JTC grows further, reaching 30 trucks and 75 trailers.
Entering asphalt transportation stretches the company further, as JTC's fleet grows to 100 trucks and 250 trailers.
The Al Jeri Group moves into real estate, while JTC hits 300 trucks, 750 trailers.
Now sporting a fleet of 1250 tucks and 3000 trailers, JTC is ideally placed to start operating in the water transport sector.
Jeri Energy is launched in partnership with an Indian company.
Secured key delivery contracts for petroleum products with Aramco, military facilities, SABIC, and Rally Dakar. J:Oil opens its 50th petrol station.
The Al Jeri Group begins F&B operations with 45degrees cafe and the chain of convenience stores.
A year of new beginnings, 2022 saw Al Jeri Investment enter the automotive sector with the launch of JCS-Bosch and Shaheen Rent-a-car.
