Job Objective:
The Truck Movement Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and organizing the movement of trucks in and out of the facility, ensuring that logistics operations run efficiently and smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Movement Monitoring: Track the movement of trucks and ensure adherence to scheduled timelines.
Loading and Unloading Coordination: Coordinate loading and unloading operations with various teams.
Data Recording: Record truck data, including arrival and departure times, and shipment status.
Driver Communication: Communicate with drivers to provide necessary instructions and information.
Problem Solving: Address any issues or delays that occur during the transportation process.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on truck movements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in transportation or logistics.
Strong communication skills.
